Students in this course acquire the basic skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century. This course develops foundational computer skills as well as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) education thinking strategies necessary for success in the 21st Century. Students will learn to create documents and research information using computers as a tool for academic advancement. Scientific inquiry will be used to identify and propose solutions for real world problems. Students will gain literacy skills in Science and Technology as well as skills in communicating ideas both independently and as part of a team.
