Library Info:

It’s almost time for the annual Book Fair!  The book fair is a great way to get some new books into your students’ hands to keep them excited about reading.  The fair will take place in the Falcon Creek Library during the second night of parent teacher conferences and during the school day.  Dates and times are as follows: Monday, November 11, 7:45-4:00, Tuesday, November 12, 7:00-4:00, Wednesday, November 13, 7:45-4:00, Thursday, November 14, 7:45-8:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 7:45-2:00.  Your students will have the opportunity to come to the fair during their reading class and certainly you can come during conferences.  Not only will you have a chance to purchase books for your student, but teachers will have wish lists as well for their classrooms; it’s a great way to help out!  Some exciting titles we hope to see at the fair this year include the new Wimpy Kid book, Hard Luck, and some of the teen series that are simply flying off the library shelves .  Mark your calendars now for a successful book fair.

New this year at the book fair, Bagels with Books!  Parents- come to the fair before school starts on Tuesday, November 12.  Have a bagel on us and shop for books for your student or your student’s teachers!  What a nice way to spend a Tuesday morning.

Finally, the Reading Rewards program is up and running.  Students received information during their SOAR class, and some students have already begun reading and talking about books.  Find out more at https://sites.google.com/a/cherrycreekschools.org/fcms-library1/home/reading-rewards.
